To setup Google SAML SSO, we will need a dedicated domain registered in Google Workspace.
Please login to https://admin.google.com/ as super admin.
As per the below screenshot, for the domain happy2learn.co.in, the user sandy@happy2learn.co.in is the super admin.
After login into https://admin.google.com/ please go to Apps --> Web and Mobile Apps --> Click on Add app --> Search for Apps --> Type Freshdesk --> Choose Freshdesk SAML app.
Once you choose the SAML app, you will be redirected to the settings screen where you will add the ACS URL and Entity ID.
To get these details, please go to your Freshdesk account, click on the Freshworks switched icon, select Security -> Default login methods -> SSO Login -> Choose IDP of your choice SAML.
Add the ACS URL and Entity ID from the above screen to the Google app settings.
Once you add all the details, please save the settings at both ends (Google app and Freshworks SSO).
And finally, the service status of the google app under google admin should be 'ON for everyone' for the SAML SSO to be enabled.
