Broken Inline Image On Recipient End

Possible Queries : 

- Images sent from Freshdesk are not seen on the recipient's side.

- Images are broken on the recipient's end.


Resolution Path :


Sometimes customers might reach out stating that the Inline images added to an Email reply from Freshdesk is visible inside the Freshdesk ticket, but not viewable on the email client of the recipient. 

It may be viewable upon download on the recipient. 


However, this is due to the mailbox settings on the recipient side. 


For example on the Outlook server, it may look like this :
The image will not be viewable. 



This is because of the setting in the Outlook server to restrict auto-download of images from External senders. 

This can be checked and changed at the recipient's server side settings. 

Kindly have this checked with them.
