Why am I getting the 'Currently one import is in progress, please try again' error while importing?

When you attempt a new import, you could receive an error message saying "Currently an import is in progress, please try again". This happens when the format of the import file is incorrect(with value added to the column with a different data type) or if the import file is large. 


You can get in touch with support@freshdesk.com to get the import killed and then you could initiate a fresh import.
