Our Knowledge Base editor includes the customary rich text formatting options, but it can do a lot more than that. Here are a few inbuilt features that can help you level up your solution articles:

Improved Table Formatting - From selecting the number of rows and columns to formatting the table with different styles and colors, the editor makes table formatting a breeze. Some of the additional functionalities include:

  • Add table header

  • Insert rows/columns - before or after a selected cell

  • Resize table - drag to resize the table and its cells

  • Style the table - dashed borders, alternate rows, no borders

  • Style the cells - highlighted, thick

  • Merging & splitting cells - vertical, horizontal

  • Adding cell background color

  • Aligning text - horizontal, vertical

Enhanced Image Formatting - Make your articles more informative and visually appealing by adding images. Here are some of our image formatting options:

  • Adding inline images

  • Styling the image - rounded, bordered

  • Image resizing - drag and resize or define width/height in pixels

  • Add alternate text

  • Add image annotations

Distraction-Free Editing - With the Fullscreen option, your team can write articles without any distraction.

True Code View - Customize your articles by editing the HTML source with code formatting and coloring. The code view will also locate tags based on the cursor/selection in the WYSIWYG view. Options include:

  • Line number on the source code

  • Syntax highlighting

  • Search and replace tags within the code view

    • Shortcuts: Search - Ctrl+F, Replace - Ctrl+Alt+F

Clean Code Snippets - Once you add your piece of code and save/publish, the code snippet will be added with syntax highlighting; which makes reading codes much easier, and also includes the name of the language name (HTML, Java and so on).

Quickly add styles to your paragraphs - When editing your article, you can add styles such as Gray, Bordered, Spaced or Uppercase to your paragraphs.

Flexible Copy-Paste Options - Copying and pasting content from other sources is simplified as we give you the option to choose whether you want to retain all formatting, optimize it, or just paste as plain text.
