Go to Admin > Workflow > Email notifications > Agent Notifications > and turn OFF New Ticket-created notifications. Also, you can remove your name from the list of agents who get notified. In this way, as an agent, you will not get any notification if a ticket is created in your name. You could do the same for Requesters as well in case you do not want your users to get email notifications when creating a ticket.
