How to close a ticket permanently, say after 3 days

Go to Admin>Supervisor and you can create a Supervisor rule as shown in the image below. But if you do not want the status to change to open if the customer replies to a closed ticket at any point, then go to Admin> Observer and turn OFF the rule " Automatically reopen tickets when the customer responds".
