How to change the agent/admin email address?


Resolution Path:-


An admin can change the email address of all the other agents/admins (except Account admin) who are part of the Freshdesk account.


Admin -> Agents -> Edit Profile -> Edit Agent details -> Email Address


An agent will not be able to modify their email address independently and must contact the Admin for assistance.


Once the email address is updated, an activation link will be sent to the new email with instructions to active the account and login to the portal.

If the profile update happens when the agent is logged in then they will be automatically logged off from the helpdesk. And also they will receive email alerts about the email address updated.
