Possible Queries :
- After merging a ticket, the secondary ticket still remains open.
Resolution Path :
Usually, when two tickets are merged, the Secondary ticket's status is changed to "CLOSED". Now in rare scenarios, the secondary tickets tend to remain in the "OPEN" status even after the merge has been done.
Or they could be a long Delay in the merge action.
Such scenarios could occur owing to a bug in the system.
This will have to be passed on to the Engineering team for further analysis by raising an L2 ticket.
