How to export archived tickets



Resolution Path:


  • To export the tickets from your helpdesk, please navigate to the Tickets tab and choose any pre-existing list view (for example - 'All tickets' view) or any custom list view from the ticket list page as per your requirement.
  • You can then choose and apply all the necessary filters such as the created time, agents, groups, etc on the right and then click on Export from the top right corner.



  • When you click 'Export', a slider opens out as shown in the image below. Here, you can choose the format of the file (CSV or Excel) along with desired ticket fields that should be included in the ticket export. Expand the 'Show multiline text fields' option on this slider to choose to export the 'Description' or any other custom multiline text field.



  • You can also choose the desired contact and company fields that needs to be exported. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find out the contact and company fields sections. Expand the section and choose the required contact and company fields > click on Export button to obtain the data.



This export will NOT give you the entire conversation from the ticket or historical data (archived tickets) - for that, you will have to perform an account export.
  • To view previously exported data from your helpdesk, please navigate to Admin> Accounts exports. From here, you can see the export history. You can also see the progress of downloads and directly download the file from this page. 
  • A window pops up when you click on the Details button which provides details about the export. The agent can easily see information like the selected time period, ticket fields, contact fields, company fields, and other information from here.



Export archive tickets


  • Archived tickets are the ones which have been inactive in your helpdesk for a certain time period. Navigate to the Tickets tab and click on the view list > choose Archive (under the 'List View Names' dropdown) to see all the archived tickets in the portal. 
  • Clicking on this view will take you to a page where you can apply the required filters.

  • Hit 'Next' once you're set. Choose the fields you need the values for and hit 'Export' to export the file.
