Resolution path:


  • Validate with the customer if they are referring to the email shown below


  • If yes, then this is the automated activation email sent from Freshdesk support. If they have submitted a ticket for the first time, dropped an email to our support email for the first time, or signed up on our portal - an automatic email will be sent by us to create an account in our support portal. This is the 'User activation link' from our Freshdesk support portal. This customer portal account allows you to handle your tickets/queries raised at support.freshdesk.com, participate in our Forums, and browse our Knowledge Base articles. 


  • This is not related to their existing agent/customer account but to the customer portal for the Freshdesk account. If they do not have a Freshdesk account, they can ignore this email.
