Here’s all you need to know about how you can try a higher plan on Freshdesk before you decide to upgrade.
- How do I sign up to try a higher plan on Freshdesk? - Click on ‘Try Higher Plan for Free’ on the top right of your Freshdesk account. 
 
- How long is the trial period? - If you’re on the Growth/Pro plan, you will get a 7-day trial of a higher plan 
- If you’re on the Free plan, you will get a 14-day trial of a higher plan 
 
- How long must I wait before I can retry a higher plan? - Once your trial expires, you can reach out to your sales representative if you have a specific use case, and they can activate it for you after a 15-day cooling period. 
- Alternatively, you can retry the higher plan directly from the product after 90 days. 
 
- What happens to the Freshdesk developer APIs that I had configured once the trial expires? - All APIs and integrations will be lost once the trial expires. You have to upgrade to a higher plan to retain them. 
 
- What happens to my account at the end of the Try Higher Plan trial period? - Your account will automatically be moved back to the original plan you subscribed for. 
- All new features, integrations, APIs, and other settings that you had configured during your trial will be lost. 
 
- Can my configurations be reinstated if I decide to upgrade post-expiry of the trial? - No. All configurations made during the trial will be deleted once your account is moved back to the original plan post-trial expiry. 
 
- How do I upgrade to a higher plan post-trial expiry? - Refer to this article to know how to upgrade to a higher plan.
